International manufacturer of rubber and automotive components has immediate need for a process engineer--the below qualifications are desired, but they WILL consider an ENTRY LEVEL engineer who lives in, or is from New Hampshire. They cannot do any visa sponsorship.
Process Engineer 
Participates in new product/process development, establishes manufacturing processes and procedures, and provides technical expertise/support to manufacturing. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Provides production support through documented process set-ups, monitoring, and adjustments 
  • Troubleshoots equipment, tooling, and materials for samples and production 
  • Supports new product quote activities through process description, part costing, packaging, process FMEA and control plans 
  • Participates in the financial justification, selection, purchase, installation, and start-up of new equipment 
  • Understands rubber rheology, rubber cure systems and effects on molding 
  • Focuses on reducing costs of existing product through efficiency, scrap reduction, etc 
  • Participates in promoting process and performs necessary functions to adhere to ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards 
  • Some travel required

  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering / related technical degree or 6+ years hands-on rubber/silicone injection processing experience utilizing Desma, Engel, Rutil and/or Laudenbach presses with evidence of technical continuing education 
  • Strong technical abilities in a variety of manufacturing disciplines required
  • Familiarity with DaimlerChrysler, Ford or GM systems preferred 
  • Knowledgeable in Lean Mfg. techniques, to include: design of cell layout, one piece flow of product and tool design preferred. Computer literacy required must have good to excellent skills in Microsoft office products
