Our client is a well established and rapidly expanding metal stamping manufacturer.

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our Strongsville Team. Duties include

PRIMARY FUNCTION : Manage maintenance associates. Maintain all building machinery and equipment .

SECONDARY FUNCTION : Install, repair, weld, update wires and design electrical and mechanical machinery as required. Permit Authorizing individual for all hot works.


  • Responsible for implementing, administering and maintaining preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment
  • Responsible for the training and development of maintenance associates.
  • Responsible for conducting performance reviews of maintenance associates in conjunction with the Operations Manager (or designate).
  • Ensure maintenance of all bearing lubrication of presses and gear oil changes.
  • Schedule and make minor mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Assign physical plant repairs as needed.
  • Assign/coordinate projects for maintenance associates.
  • Ensure all equipment complies with Local, State and Federal regulations.
  • Issue and maintain Hot Work Permits where required, while ensuring safe operation of activity.
  • Manage annual inspection of hoist and crane. Ensure area supervisor performing daily inspection.
  • Maintain lift truck repair schedules.
  • Maintain adequate supplies for Press Room equipment and stock wire.
  • Order required parts, maintenance equipment and supplies from outside vendors. Contract outside vendors on larger projects.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety requirements, including the understanding and use of lock out tag out procedures.
  • Follow all applicable IATF 16949 processes.
  • Follow all applicable ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
  • Actively promote associates participation in continuous improvement efforts like ACE suggestion program and Continuous Improvement teams.
  • Implement ACE suggestions.
  • Generally, perform all other duties as required.
  • Troubleshoot and program PLC’s.

Education / Experience /Training

High school graduate or equivalent

5 years manufacturing / maintenance experience

Extensive knowledge of stamping / manufacturing equipment

2 years supervision experience
